He calls me after midnight...
So what would be a new year without being sick???? I tell you if I'm not sick on new years then I start my monthly at the stroke of midnight. It's happened every year since 1995 now. HOW OBNOXIOUS!!!! (And I'm sorry if you didn't want to read that). But yeah, I'm sick. I've got a head cold and well I just constantly feel like my head is way too heavy for it's own good. So I've been sleeping a lot. But at least I made the drive to Austin on Jan. 1st and I've been in my own bed for the past few nights trying to kick this cold.
In the meantime, I've organized a lot of the promo clutter in my apartment. I set up my new CD tower and worked in all of the new additions into my collection since I bought the last tower and filled it (over 100 new CDs to put in). So now I've got a pretty new CD shelve thing to look at in my room and it makes me feel like I'm almost somewhere new...like say in Chicago already. Though I'm not.
Now (thanks to an idea Jennifer had) I'm listening to my entire CD collection from A to Z. I started yesterday after I finished reorganizing and I'm still on the A's!!! Actually I'm currently listening to AM Radio - Radioactive...one problem I discovered with this idea though. I had to listen to two CDs I don't think I ever wanted to and still don't want to hear again, ever. Ace of Base wasn't so bad...but ADEMA GRRRR! I FUCKING HATE THEM!!!! Why did Arista have to give me a copy of their full-length?! You can't sell promotional copies to Tower Records, Wherehouse, etc. I REALLY HATE ADEMA TOO!!!! *bangs head* but at least I made it past those CDs. I was really happy when I got to hear AAR, hehe. That CD is awesome.
Anyway I won't go on telling you about all the CDs I've gone through so far, so I'll just end with this. Hope everyone had a better beginning to a new year than I did...actually mine was really good. Because although I went to bed feeling horrible and woke up sick as a dog. I got a phone call (while my phone was off...so a voicemail) after midnight from someone that is the light of my eye, if you know me you know who that is *wink*. That was the best surprise and voice message ever *le sigh*
