TINY TINY MAN. Lkjsdf he’s 5’6” and… compact I guess is a good word. He’s not particularly broad, but he packs a lot of muscle and power into a little bitty frame. He’s built like a gymnast, kind of lean but definitely strong.

Forty-five… He looks way older then that though ffff
3. Describe his posture. Does he carry himself well or does he slouch?
Basically it is… perfect… always. He stands really really straight and really really rigid all the time.
4. How is his health? Is he fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities?
He’s incredibly fit actually! Kind of shockingly so considering the life he’s lived and how old he’s gotten.
5. How does he move? Is he clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid?
Tense and… well graceful isn’t quite the right word, but there definitely isn’t any wasted movement there. He has a very mechanical and kind of kinetic way of moving, especially when he’s fighting
6. How attractive is this character physically? How does he perceive himself in the mirror?
NOT EVEN A LITTLE BIT OH LAWD. Actually he’s called… fascinatingly ugly? So I guess he’s interesting to look at but not because he’s pretty… He probably has a really nice body though lkajsldfjlkjlk AND HE is pretty fully aware he isn’t attractive, and I think a part of him is glad of it because that way he doesn’t have deal with like… people flirting with him and stuff… @_@

PALE. Really really pale and quite noticeably freckled.

It’s really… obnoxiously red, and curly. He keeps it quite short. It’s probably kind of gross to the touch though because he never… showers… eww Rorschach why

Dull brown

FRECKLES EVERYWHERE. ALSO SCARS EVERYWHERE TOO. Also he has kind of… hollow cheeks and really high cheekbones, probably because he doesn’t eat regularly.

Shoulders, hands and jaw.

As Walter it’s all kinda… plain ratty suits. Everything looks really old and worn… because it is. Rorschach on the other hand, actually is sort of meticulous about his appearance, in so far as his ridiculous purple suit is rather better taken care of then any of Walter’s.

Well enough. Again, the purple suit fits him and is more comfortable to him then anything else he owns

Snarly and horribly monotone.

SEE… ABOVE…?!?! Kind of slow and steady. He never rushes. Each of his words is very very deliberate.

American English, without a New York lean to it surprisingly! And he has… a million verbal ticks, usually little curious throat-y sounds along the same lines as ‘hurm’

I think he is? But since he’s usually so short with people, and can be silent for long periods of time, it’s possible that he really... does have to think about it first. Probably not though.

Somewhere… between eloquent and inarticulate?!?! LKJSDFLKJ like he is exceptionally well-spoken most of the time, but since he clips and generally mutilates his sentences he can sound kind of inarticulate… ffffff dis character

A little of both, though he’s notably more street-smart then book-smart. He’s lived more or less on the streets and/or in shady parts of town for his entire life so he knows how to get around. But even though he dropped out of high school, he’s still apparently fairly well read even if he hasn’t got a lot of the… technical knowledge that school might’ve given him. LET’S JUST SAY HE’S NOT DUMB AND GO WITH THAT LKSJDFLKJ
2. Does he think on his feet, or does he need time to deliberate?
Definitely thinks on his feet. That’s what he’s good at, is improvising and keeping the other person off-balance

Good god… overly logical for the most part? However he can get really caught up in his emotions sometimes. Also he has a kind of… immature mentality, so ‘logical’ might not exactly be the right word. I guess… logical for a childish paranoid nihilistic near-sociopath anyway…

Catholic school until sixteen when he dropped out to get a job

Beating the shit out of people and also being generally terrifying. He is always interested in learning more detective-y skills, anything that’ll come in handy when he’s trying to track down bad guys.

Uh… creepily even-tempered actually. He really doesn’t respond outwardly to anything except the very very worst or the very very best things. Which isn’t to say he’s not responding at all. He is. He just keeps it to himself unless it’s so startling or so big he can’t not respond.
8. How does he respond to new people or situations? Is he suspicious, relaxed, timid, enthusiastic?
SUSPICIOUS. FOREVER SUSPICIOUS. Also timid? I mean he really… does not like people. He doesn’t know how to deal with them in any way that isn’t violent. Kindness is lost on him. He’s too literal and too focused to ever really be able to deal with anyone new in a healthy way. He’s slightly better in new situations because, again, he thinks on his toes well, but even then, he’d rather not have to deal with new stuff.

Re… act…? I suppose? I mean it’s kind of an even balance between the two, though he ends up reacting by virtue of having to wait for a crime to happen before he can go find the person responsible. Or… whatever lskjdlfkj

He mostly… doesn’t have a sense of humor? And when he does it's all kind of… terrible backhanded puns and/or really morbid… HUMAN BEAN JUICE FOR INSTANCE…

Y… es… though I don’t know what to call them? Probably some kind of social anxiety disorder, paranoia… not to mention all those hang-ups related to sexuality. Possibly an oedipal complex or… whatever the opposite of that is kjsldkjf @_@ Goodness… he’s very very nearly sociopathic, as well as the… almost dissociative identity disorder. He’s not quite as bad as say… Harvey Dent, but he definitely still thinks of Rorschach and Walter as two different people with two different rules and constraints on their behavior…

Being taken from his mother. Learning Kitty Genovese died and becoming Rorschach. Meeting Daniel. Kidnap case with Blair Roche. Uh… Keene Act I suppose? And finally, Adrian killing all those people :|b

Ohhhhh lots of things… Losing his face. Becoming (more) corrupt. Not being able to save someone in trouble… Losing his partner ); woops that already happened

Becoming… better then humanity… enough so that he is able to save it from its terrible downward spiral… Bring everything back to its roots because AS WE ALL KNOW everything was better for everyone in the past!!!

A H A H A H A well his mom was a prostitute who beat him!!! So they had a pretty shitty relationship, and over time he lost whatever weird faith he had in her and grew to hate her… as well as all women. SO THERE’S… THAT…
But for whatever reason she really talked up his dad, so now he has kind of a… hideously idealized image of him despite never having met him. :|b SO COMPLETELY HEALTHY ALL AROUND…………

No other siblings thank goodness

No… I’m sure he has blood relatives somewhere but he’s never met any of them so…

Well he has the whole… ‘attack against one is an attack against all’ thing so he probably considers all the other masks to be family of a kind. He’s got some pretty varied relationships there, but mostly he isn’t that close to them. EXCEPT DANIEL who is his closest and also only… friend… thing…

LAWD… Well he is completely celibate and has some pretty messed up ideas about sex, so… this is really never addressed directly in canon? But again, hints and headcanon says he falls somewhere around 4 or 5

He’s actually militantly atheist! Or at the very least believes that God has nothing to do with the affairs of earth. I think he might believe in some kind of hideous afterlife for criminals and sinners and bluh bluh bluh if only because he was taken into a Catholic home when he was fairly young

Y… es… He’s very… black and white on ethics. You know, like… once you do something bad you are immediately evil forever. There are no gray areas. That kind of thing. And that started with Kitty Genovese and was officially cemented as A Thing with Blair Roche.
AND NOTHING WOULD COMPROMISE IT. HE IS UNCOMPROMISABLE!!!!

HAHA he’s pretty friggin intolerant. I mean if you’re interesting and a good person overall, he’ll let you be. But he’ll probably think you’re stupid as hell, and will get into arguments with you constantly.

LKJSDF OH BOY. He’s pretty unapologetically misogynistic which is obviously irrational, though he is a misogynist because of his treatment as a young child bluh bluh Freudian excuse and stuff. Other then that, he can be sort of heterosexist and probably a little bit racist at times, though definitely way less so then the… misogyny thing… He also has a sort of unreasonable love of military men, to the point where he’ll forgive them for pretty much anything. The Comedian almost raping Sally for instance… @_@ Keeping in mind that he once murdered a rapist just to make a point about his conviction, that’s… a pretty big deal…

POOR… He’s pretty much a hobo… although SURPRISINGLY he does have a ratty horrible little apartment. So he’s not actually homeless, he’s just really really poor

Hobo… and wanted vigilante… The hobo thing at least changed after Blair. He did have a job at one point! But the vigilante thing has been pretty steady for a long time. THE WANTED PART IS NEW, and that affected him by… forcing Daniel out of the business which I’m sure did… loads for Rorschach’s mental healthy………………
It’s been a pretty steady downward spiral for awhile, and with each worse turn, he’s gotten a little more insane )8

TINY HIDEOUS APARTMENT. He lives alone, but it is in… the worst fucking condition lksjdlfjlkjsdf It’s pretty obvious he extends his… Never Take A Shower philosophy to his dishes and… probably everything else in there as well. Doesn’t help that the building is in a pretty bad part of town, so it was probably in poor condition even before he got there…

Paint and cardboard signs… Newspapers… He really doesn’t have a lot of extra money lksdlkfjlk

HE DOESN’T… HAVE A JOB…!! But he is a vigilante which yes, he is excellent at. Scourge of New York’s underworld and stuff. And no, he wouldn’t ever do anything else. Ever…
