i got a 60 on this essay!
the directions were:
1. Apporximately 250-300 words
2. Typed
3. Double-space
4. Times New Roman font
5. 12 point font
Your origin myth may be n any topic you would like, as long as it is appropriate for school. Contemporary items are acceptable as long as you come up with a detailed and creative way to explain the items origin.
now it doesnt say anything about putting the myth in a story-like format... and this bitch gives me a failing grade! at least i did my paper... shit man...

Who is God?
If only there were answers for every ‘why’ question. Things will seem a whole lot better if we knew everything. Like God, who is he? How did he come up and what was Jesus thinking? Is God real? And if he is then why isn’t there any evidence on him? What if God is a girl! No one really knows. The devil, what about him? Why is he referred to as ‘The Devil’? No one says ‘The God’! Where exactly is heaven and hell? For all we know heaven is down below and hell is high above. No one we know has been there and back to tell the tall tale story of the unknown. And the Virgin Mary, my opinion on her is that she could have had an affair and accidentally got pregnant, therefore Jesus was a bastard child. He grew up without a father figure who probably developed a mental depression and turned to narcotics for a get away. For all we know Jesus could have been an herbalist who grew marijuana or something of that sort in his yard and smoked up with all his buddies or ‘followers’ every day. He could have been a drug user who saw or heard all these delusional things. Maybe that’s how we got God! Maybe God was simply a mere imaginary image in Jesus’ mentally handicapped mind. But no, it doesn’t say flat out in the bible that Jesus smoked but in order to know something like that you would have to read between the lines.
Isn’t it that in the old days that if you had ‘magical powers’ you were considered a witch, a spawn of Satan. Well, God had powers, why didn’t people consider him evil? Jesus had powers, why not him too? You see it’s so very easy to manipulate or brain wash people in to believing almost everything. I can gather a group of people and lecture to them that I am a god. I bet you anything that I’ll get them to believe that I hear voices or that I see things and that I get signs from heaven and they say to kill. I would get that group of people and tell them, “Lets all rejoice…gather into the circle of death and lets die in peace together!” We would all be dead. Of course I would keep a journal and record all that goes on. Some lucky person would find and read throughout with open eyes causing that person to be yet again manipulated… making him believe that he is a resurrection of my useless dead soul. And the whole thing will start over again and it’ll never end. How do you think we got the bible. They say that a man walked in every footstep of Jesus and wrote down everything that he did. That man could have been one of his smoke-out buddies. The bible is only a diary of what happened in someone’s life and for some odd reason the people nowadays worship that book and bide by every forsaken rule that’s in there. Don’t you think that is called manipulation?!?
