We are known for our communications program. I mean that's what we are, a communication and the arts school. Are you talking about like journalism or like our sign language communications programs? We are one of the top schools in the country for our communications programs so I mean if that's what you want to do this is the school for you.
And people wise, basically we are all the losers and artsy kids and fags and dykes from all the highschools. Like think all the dodgeball targets and you will get Emerson. Last year stat wise, 60% of Emerson identified as at least bisexual. I am bisexual and so is my boyfriend. It's ridiculously liberal and accepting campus as long as you are liberal. There are almost no conservatives here (by which i mean i've heard of three). Everyone does drugs and drinks and smokes here so if you're into that you'll find people to hang with real quick. If not (like me) it's a little harder to have a social life but you find people eventually. Oh and diversity-wise the white population is in the vast vast majority, not entirely sure why that is...
