Hating Verizon with a deep and burning hatred that will never be extinguished

I'm not even going to go into how annoying their interactive problem reporting system is or how screwed up their web tracking of "your account" is, I'm sure you can imagine.

But here's the kicker... I report the problem and they say they'll fix it in about a week. I think they are just covering their asses and will probably get to it sooner. NFW. They finally come out today, look at the problem and tell me lightning must have blown a fuse on the pole. Then they go away and never come back and the phone still doesn't work.

And to add insult to injury the website tells me the problem ticket is closed. Why the frikkin' frakkin' hell wouldn't they just call me to see if it was working before they close the ticket? So I have to open a new ticket, and you guessed it, they have me scheduled for a technician to visit 7 days from now.

When the hell did 14 days become how long it takes to fix the frikken' phone?

Lord, how I miss Ma Bell.

A murrain upon them and all their cattle and may boils afflict them unto the end of their days!!! Vicious biting insects wouldn't displease me, either.
