EXT. BUS STOP - MIDDAY

Percy and a little girl are the only ones at the bus stop. Percy lights a cigarette.

GIRL
My daddy says cigarettes are bad for you.

PERCY
They are.

GIRL
Then why do you smoke them?

PERCY
Do you like candy?

GIRL
Of course.

A bus arrives.

PERCY
Candy's bad for you.

Percy gets on the bus. The girl withdraws a pack of candy cigarettes from her pocket and puts one in her mouth.

INT. SHRINK'S OFFICE - AFTERNOON

SHRINK
When did you start smoking cigarettes?

PERCY
When I was fourteen.

SHRINK
Uh-huh. And why did you start smoking?

PERCY
I wanted to look like a tough kid.

SHRINK
Were you bullied in school?

PERCY
No. I just liked the image.

Pause.

SHRINK
Did you ever have a fantasy about performing oral sex on a man?

PERCY
No, it never appealed to me.
