Sunday13thJanuary - My first 2008 post
It has thus far has been awesome =) and as pastor did share; this year is to be the year of manifested blessings and already blessings has been manifesting in my life.
A new career:
a new season; as of the beginning of this year i've changed from my current job as a media sales exec to coming on as a full time server in Church. I can only say that God has been so very faithful to me =) I've come to a landmark in this Journey that God has been taking me thru, and it did have its share of challenges (and boy was it tough). But Praise Jesus that He made things so beautiful in His time, that through it all i've come to know as i look back, God was all the way with me, doing the work, protecting me, nurturing me. Like the man in the story of the footprints, He Carried me all the way.
And yes, this new season is by no means an end. It is another beginning, the start of another new thing that God is doing in my life. of many new things to learn, new revelations to receive. There are many things I don't know, but Jesus! You are my Favour, my Wisdom, You're everything.
An interesting anecdote: I was in my new office the other day; in the guitar and working on some song ideas when suddenly i thought to myself that i had better start getting back to "work"... so i put down the guitar, and turned back to my computer console only to realise, that i AM working...
i'm living the dream of being paid to do something that i love.
sigh, I'm babbling! hahaa... the more i think about How God has blessed me, the more speechless i become, it's as if the words that proceed from me do injustice to the description of the measure and intensity of God's great Love for me.
An engagement:
Yes i think most of us know by now that I'm engaged to the most awesome woman. Who on top of the qara that God has given to her has in the recent days experienced such tremendous acceleration in Life and Ministry. I AM A BLESSED MAN. I'm so blessed that i'm envious of myself~ (!!!) hahahahah
So we're engaged to be married this year, and boy has the blessings been coming without cease! to count some,
- We've gotten a beautiful venue for the ceremony, of which i was blessed with no mean portion of money for the deposit.
- We've gotten the gowns, not one but TWO, at an impossible price of $400, from a divine God-incidence involving Kingdom friends... that's right, BOUGHT and not rented (pictures can see, just ask Nikki).
- We've bought our wedding bands, a beautiful, unique pair made of silver; the metal that speaks of Christ's redemption to remind both of us that we are the redeemed of the Lord, also at a good price
- We've been blessed by persons sowing into our lives. One as recently as this evening. It's amazing.
- And the best part so far for me; We've got the ballot for our future flat. it was our first time balloting, and we only balloted for this one area, and of the 100 flats available and 900 applicants we came out of the ballot in the 26th position. It's ridiculous when you even think about it.
I'm ridiculously blessed! We're Ridiculously BLESSED. And yes, i'm really boasting about it now, because it simply is so undeserved, I'm boasting about How awesome my Abba Father is. How lovely and magnificent. =)

And today it was a long day, but it was such a privilege to have been serving, LORD i receive ALL that was spoken and prayed for! Amen!
And yes, i was so glad today when i heard the item that was sang... It was not just because one of the singers was my betrothed, but also because i was looking at yet another facet of Daddy's faithfulness.
And Lord You will continue to be Faithful, For all of my days. =)
