It's still my birthday...
We have this...theory? No...edict? No...belief? Close enough...
We have this belief that until you've gone to sleep, it's not yet "tomorrow" so it's still my birthday, damnit! And a heck of one it's been...
First, thanks to EVERYONE for all the birthday wishes today...You are all the best gifts anyone could ever ask for :)
This will be short, since I'm wired AND exhausted all at the same time...
James was PHENOMENAL, simply marvelous...Sweet Baby James brought me some tears, yet again...and I did think of you, dear Tish, hoping that all is well with you. I ended up sitting next to a couple, and the wife's birthday is Sunday, and the husband's next week. Apparently, we weren't the only three, as someone yelled happy birthday out to someone, and JT paused, looked up, and said "Yes, Happy Birthday!" A small touch that, though not related to me, was very nice.
And, I have the boot...some static, because I had no place to put the mic except the end of my coat sleeve, and the couple got up a couple times to get beer, so I had to move it.
Thanks again all...so far, 30's nothing ;-)
