I find the whole political machinations in the society funny.
Particularly, in that I seem to be the only one without any sort of emotional impetus to do a show. I just. Don't. Care.
I think Grease would be wonderful, but I also think sweeny would be great.
I have been given advice, (particularly since the jon random switching sides thing) by such a large number of people that its really ridiculous, and what is funnier about it, is that every last one of them has an emotional reason for their advice, as opposed to a practical reason.
And none of them realise it, everyone feels that they are being logical. As opposed to really wanting to do a show. Or disliking the people doing the show. Or not confidant in their own ability to perform a role in one production as opposed to another. Or general snobbiness. Or not wanting someone else to do one particular show. Or vengeance towards people doing a show.
Not one of them realise it. It's hilarious, but not actually funny.
.
Also, I made the call a little while ago not to do Grease. Jon jumping ship is interesting politically, but doesn't actually change my decision. If Grease is proposed it won't be with me.
Watching all this from the sidelines will be much more interesting, amusing, and ultimately easier. Good Luck peeps.
