Speakeasy Theatres Close
Damn it.
A couple of months ago, the Parkway Theatre -- The Best Damn Date Theater in the Bay -- closed its doors. Now, it's sister theater, the Cerrito Speakeasy, has followed it.
I am more affected by this than I expected, even though I knew it was probably coming. We had so much fun there, so many memories... And there is nothing like it left standing. Hopefully, when the economy picks up, someone will take the idea and try it again.
