Arm is officially healed. Most numbness still in fingers and may or may not go away, but I find myself actually picking up stuff, using screwdrivers and such--still weak but getting better.
Walking on paved surfaces without cane routinely, and walking now and then on site without it. Still wobbly, but having had enough sleep, not so tired. Almost forgetting cane on a regular basis.
The effort to reduce the triglyceride and blood sugar issues* so far mainly means I am losing weight. A thought--healthy diets don't really directly cause you to lose weight. The food tastes like crap, so you eat less. (and no, gentle readers, I do not need culinary advice). I have, however, developed a craving for good tomatoes, which are in abundance hereabouts.
*both went up drastically immediately after the knee surgery, and have not gone back down very much. Of course, I am aware that correlation does not mean causation, but it does make one think.
