Sarah and I got together today to figure out our route and timing for Florida. We leave on the 11th. We've got everything all figured out. She's like, "Wow, you've done this once or twice, haven't you"

Tonight we are going to Wal-Mart to buy food for the ride and also stuff to put over the windows when we stop.
Hopefully the people I know in Baltimore will let us stop there for awhile.
She's never driven further than Concord probably, and I've driven less than 10 times in my life....it will be interesting.
The Rydells are recording this weekend but I have to work. Then next weekend we are driving down to NJ for some fest they are playing. I wish Sarah was coming, that way we could leave for Florida right afterwards but instead we are leaving 3 days after I get back from NJ.
I'm flying back on Monday..some vacation. However, we are going to stop at South of the Border and a bunch of other places because she has only been to Vermont, Massachusetts, and Connecticut. She has never even been to New York! And I lived 15 minutes outside of NYC for several years, so we'll probably stop there, even though we'll be there in the middle of the night...it should be fun. And since we'll be on the coast for most of the ride, we are going to stop at beaches and go swimming. Hopefully there will be a surf shop when we get to Florida because I promised her I'd teach her how to surf.
