In a New York Improv Club, an insult comic (well, aren't they all? :-) ) is talking about finding a date
over Internet and how it usually doesn't work out; then refers to somebody from the audience:
- Is it your husband sitting right next to you?
Lady from the audience:
- No, he's actually my boyfriend ...
- Where did you two meet?
- In a bar ...
(audience laughs badly, because "meeting in a bar" is not much better than getting hooked up over Internet)
- How long have you two been dating?
- For about four years ...
- Well, that's quite a time.. (referring to a guy) are you going to marry her?
(a guy, pretending he doesn't understand the plot):
- What?
(audience laughing their asses off)
