Doors were usually easy to find, and thankfully this room was no exception to that rule. Tucking the communication device into his belt (since he figured loosing it wasn't a good idea if it was his only means of communication a this point), the former king headed for the door, neatly side-stepping the now smoldering pile of ash that had been a rather strange, blue-skinned creature.
In retrospect, Ashura felt somewhat bad for attacking it has he had, but to be fair the thing had fired some sort of spell at him first - and judging from the smoke and charred mark it left on the floor, the attack had not been meant to just detain or disable him. He would be sure to apologize to whomever ran this place for the death. But in the here and now, Ashura thought he had a more immediate problem.
He'd not said anything to the man on the screen, but the cafeteria was echoing with bestial sounds, sounds he wasn't sure could come from a fully sentient being and most certainly not something one usually defined as 'friendly'. Of course, that was assuming this world obeyed the laws of his own, which he had no reason to believe. But, if he went by the blue creature's actions, the sounds couldn't be anything good.
He wasn't overly worried, to be sure, even if he wished he had his sword with him. For now his magic seemed in tact and that would have to do, but there was no sense in being comfortable. He'd been a god in his own world, but that by no means meant that there was not a creature or person here of equal or greater strength. Even kings knew when to not press their luck, and Ashura had already pressed his to the breaking point and beyond and paid the price (willing, but paid it all the same).
Gliding across the floor, a vision in white, red, and black, he took up a position not far from the door, but not to close. If this Lavi arrived he did not want the man being caught in something less than pleasant. So, now all there was to do would be to wait.
But even Ashura had his doubts about how long, exactly, whatever was making those sounds remain absent. Time to press his luck.
