Summary: Six patients have been thrown into a sick new game, hosted by the newest NPC. Will they survive and claim the prize?
Warnings: Violence. Lots of violence. Disturbing imagery, without a doubt. Certainly a whole lot of swearing. Seriously, leave the kids at home for this one.
Six patients will find themselves awakening within a chilly, tiled room. The room is glaringly white, with fluorescent lighting glaring off of the tiles. An operating theatre, although it has been cleared of any sort of surgical equipment. There are two doors, opposite one another, and next to one is a television set projecting only static. Above that door is a clock, with all three hands frozen on twelve.
But along the other walls are thick windows, the observation areas. They're unbreakable, and what they contain on the other side is only dimly visible, as the rooms beyond are dark. Three of the captive patients, Jack, Egypt, and Tieria, are against the left wall. The other three, Sheva, Oz, and Ladd, are against the right. They are seated against the walls, with thick metal cables around their necks like a noose. The cords that the nooses are attached to have little give, more behind them, toward the windows, than forward. The nooses have a sliding loop, implying they can be removed if they could only be loosened, but the cable is pulled too taut no matter which direction they move in to allow for it. If the patients touch the cords, they will find them covered in a thick coat of grease.
If the patients look up, they'll see the cables lead upwards, to a pulley attached to the ceiling. There is a blocky apparatus attached to each of the cables, far out of the reach of any one of the patients, but still a couple of feet away from the pulley. The cable loops around the pulley, leading into a hole just big enough to fit it, and leading to the other side. If the patients peer into the windows, they'll see another pulley attached to the ceiling on the other side, and at the top of that cable, a foreboding looking large black block attached.
Dangling from a cord in the center of the room, low enough that one of the patients could grab it easily if they could make it that far, is a key.
