Summary: Liet wants to check in, and keep his promise, and it turns out they have some important things to talk about

Lithuania had recently had a long talk with Poland. He was nearly frantic about what Russia might have done to Latvia. He'd promised to stay inside where it was safe, but he just couldn't stand it anymore. It wasn't that he distrusted his little brother, at least not in so many words, but he knew that if he thought it would help things that Latvia wouldn't tell anyone if he had been hurt or was in trouble. It was his job as an older brother to look after Latvia, even though he failed so often.
So, Poland dropped Lithuania off at Latvia's door. He didn't want to go in himself, and was going to go talk to someone else for a while. It was still painful to see this distance between the members of his little family, but Liet had learned to deal with it. At least in part. He had to do what he could. No matter what. He nervously knocked on the door.
"Latvia? Are you there?"
