After a tireless day of brooding alone in his room, Neil finally decided to grab some lunch without going to get Tieria first. He's been upset when he couldn't manage to stop the argument between Lyle and Tieria on the forums, and like the totally emotionally mature young man he was, decided to deal with it by ignoring both parties. The worst part about it was, there was no one to blame. It was neither Tieria nor Lyle's fault that the two just didn't mesh well, even if Lyle Neil understood that. But it didn't change how much he didn't like it.

So upon entering the Cafeteria, he was quite pleased to see the old friend, once he had established that it was his friend, and not Hallelujah. At this point, if he had seen Hallelujah, it would have been very difficult not to hit him. He grabbed a tray with a hodgepodge of different 'safe' foods, and took a seat at Allelujah's table.

"Long time no see, bud." He smiled jovially. "How ye been doing?"

Allelujah heard footsteps coming closer towards him, and soon he turned his head to see Lockon. He gave a small smile, nodding his head a little as he watched Lockon sit down. He was surprised to see Lockon by himself down here, as usually Lyle was at least with him. Sometimes even Tieria, but Allelujah saw nothing wrong with Lockon coming down alone. Everyone needed time alone, and it would be hypocritical of him to think it was strange.

"Hello, Lockon." His voice was soft, calming even. "It has been too long, I will agree with that sentiment." He nodded, not even remembering the last time he spoke to Lockon in person. "I have been fine, thank you for asking."

He paused, now deciding to ask Lockon some questions."What bring you here, and alone of all things?" He set his cup of coffee down, still looking at him. "Not that I'm trying to intrude."

Even if Allelujah wasn't trying to intrude, Neil had been hoping he wouldn't ask that, or bring it up. He had just taken a bite of the Spinach Salad on his plate, and the time it took to chew it gave him enough to decide how he would respond...even if he normally would have just answered with his mouth full. Had this been a few months ago, he probably would have just shrugged it off, or made something up. Now however, he didn't see any real reason not to tell one of his friends something like this.

"Ehh.. I'm miffed at Tieria and Lyle. You'd think if they hate each other so damn much they could just avoid each other or something." He shook his head, though still smiled. "I mean really...arguing in someone else's post...it was pretty senseless. I just didn't feel like being around either of them after that." He took another bite of the salad, and this time didn't finish chewing before speaking.

"How bout' you?" He swallowed. "I don't see you actually eating down here by yourself very often. In fact, I'm not even sure I ever have."

Allelujah still had a grip on his cup, his fingers rubbing it. He look down at the plate Lockon was eating, and he noticed it was the spinach salad. He was about to comment, but he held back. There had to be a good reason why Lockon would eat such a thing, and he was sure Lockon knew the side effects ( ... )
