A Deer, A Wolf, & a Couple of Inmates Walk into a Garden...

Summary: Allen and Germany meet to introduce their daemons and get to know one another...

After discussing their companions on the Forums and agreeing to meet, Germany turned away from the laptop computer and did a quick check in the mirror to make certain he looked all right. He had not, after all, had a chance to meet this Mr. Walker before now, and wished to make a good impression. As he was running a comb through his hair, Ludwig was surprised to hear Schatzi announce: "Not like it isn't always perfect, ne? Let's go before I have to make you do push-ups or something!"
He turned slowly, one eyebrow climbing, to stare at the wolf. "Please. No need to be bossy, you are not a cow." Ludwig advanced on her with comb in hand. "Look at you. What a mess you are. Let me..."
Before she could stop him, he sat down beside her and got Schatzi in a headlock--then proceeded to groom her head and ruff until she was perfect-looking, no mean feat since she was pawing at him and growling the whole time. "'Los! Stoppit! I look fine!" she snarled, but Ludwig had his way. It was the only means to come out on top in a relationship with a canine, after all...
"There, NOW you look fine. Shall we?"
They headed down to the Garden to await the arrival of Mr. Walker and the deer, Cyanna. Much discussion had already occurred about not eating other daemons; Schatzi huffily assured him she would only defend if someone else attacked first, so all was well. Ludwig made himself comfortable on one of the benches while Schatzi roamed about, patrolling and inspecting....
