Latvia had only come down to pick some food in the cafeteria and hurry back to his room, but then he saw Galatea walking into the garden and followed her. His daemon cradled in his arms safely, he entered the garden, watching her as she let her daemon fly.

Well. Some one had followed her it seemed. Galatea remained where she, not turning her head or anything. Instead she spoke, her voice carry a certain calmness to it.

"Latvia."

He pressed Daina to his chest, hard enough for the rabbit to protest, and replied nervously. "Yes, i-it is me."

She made an amused sound, the boy was back to normal as he started stuttering again. The hawk named Vulcan, as he called himself, landed back on her shoulder and whispered something in her ear. She nodded in response.

"It's good to see you again, ah, under different circumstances than before. What kind of animal did you get?"

He eyed the hawk a bit worriedly. "I-it is a rabbit. She is called Daina." After Midna had already threatened that her snake would eat Daina, he was a bit scared of all those animals that might do the same.

"A rabbit?" She cocked her head toward Latvia then to her hawk whom was perched on her shoulder. That did posses a problem, hawks had been known to prey on rabbit. She lifted her hand and moved it over to Vulcan's left wing, pulling hard on it.

"You don't have to worry he's not going to be preying on any animals."

Vulcan, of course complained out loud about his feathers being messed up. Galatea didn't think she ever saw a hawk that was so vain...or talked for that matter.

"A....are you sure?" Latvia still pressesd Daina even closer to his chest. Normally he would never have doubted openly something another person, much more a stronger person said, no matter how wrong he thought that it was. But on the one hand this was not about his own but about Daina's safety, and on the other...

This was more or less the greatest sign of just how much he trusted Galatea by now. It wansn't something he did consciously, but the only ones whom he might have openly disagreed with would normally be his brothers, and maybe maybe Poland and Finland.

"Kundze Midna said that h-her snake would try to e-eat my rabbit."

"He may prey on smaller mammals, but he takes on my personality more or less so." She said as she gave the hawk, Vulcan, another hard tug on his wing as some kind of warning. "Besides he has to listen to his owner, that's the way of pets."

"That's not fair." The hawk finally protested, eying the rabbit before lifting his wing to check it's feathers. He obviously cared more about that than anything. "You almost took a feather out Galatea."

Another tug on the wing. Now she knew there was a reason animals didn't normally talk.

"D-does that not hurt him?" He looked at how Galatea tugged the hawk's wings. It looked as if it would hurt, and that worried Latvia. Why did she do that? Did really everybody have to hurt others... It would have been nice if that wasn't the case.

The rabbit pressed it's paws against Latvia's chest and tried to get out of his arms, and after some moments Latvia obliged and sat it down carefully. The little daemon sat next to her human for a few moments, before hopping a few feet towards Galatea and her daemon. Latvia's eyes widened and he took one step to follow her, then another one.

"Maybe a bit. It's only used as a warning." Galatea wasn't really the type to go around hurting others unless it was for a really good reason. In this case she didn't want him to feed on the little bunny, and he did want to. It was only animal nature.

"He's too worry about his physical image, he won't feed on your bunny if he knows what's good for him." She said, as she crossed her arm, her voice soft. From where she sat she tilted her head down as the other daemon came hopping towards them, even if she couldn't see it she could hear it. A small smile came upon her lips.

"Your bunny is pretty quiet isn't she?"

"Y-yes." Still, he would have rather not seen this. Galatea was a nice, a friendly person, someone he trusted - trusted more than he knew himself. Although... He remembered watching his brothers train dogs, or horses, he had done it himself during his time with Sweden. Sometimes this was needed. And it were just animals... weren't they? But- He knew that he didn't like being trained with beatings.

He watched the two deamons worriedly while Daina hopped even closer to Galatea. "She s-said a lot when we were alone, it was really n-nice." He threw his daemon a look, hoping for help - that came. The bunny turned around towards him. "I am sorry, Latvia, I just..." She looked at the two other beings in the room. "Don't worry. I can still talk." The deamon seemed to want to say more, but didn't. Instead, she looked at Vulcan again... She would have liked the hawk to come down, she was sure that he wouldn't hurt her. But she was way too shy and a bit too intimidated to ask.

It was some kind of a habit. Not the beatings, but rather the way she trained the talking bird. This was how claymore warriors were trained, through harsh discipline. She must have pick it up from when she was at the organization. Of course it must have seem like a bad double standard to other people, as it would be very doubtful if she were to treat the kids at the church this way. Okay she never would.

She also doubted Latvia wanted to watch the two bicker at each other. Galatea gave a little push to the the hawk on her shoulder as the bunny hopped closer and then spoke. Vulcan hopped down onto her knee then onto the ground where the bunny was. He wanted to snack on it, but this daemon belonged to someone that Galatea knew. Someone close for that matter, so he felt the need to be friendly.

"How are you feeling Latvia?" She asked in regards to the mirrors.
