Who: Keith Valentine (
boredvampire) & Lithuania (
toris_lietuvos).
When: A day or two after
Keith's post.
Where: Keith's room
Rating: PG-13, for safety's sake
Summary: Keith has discovered first hand that the blood now apparently has unpleasant side effects, resulting in a high fever and delirium. And Lithuania, being a mother hen, is helping him out.
Warnings: Delirious vampires, mistaken identity, and eventual nommings.
Keith had never been sick before; he had rather thought that vampires weren't susceptible to human illnesses.
The tainted blood he had been given had proved him wrong.
The fever had climbed steadily higher since he'd asked the other people here what to do about it, and he had alternately slept and lay in bed half out of his mind with delirium. He didn't know if this was normal for a fever, but he didn't really care at this juncture. The only coherent thought that persisted was that he hated being sick, and didn't know how humans put up with it.
Liet had been in to check on him periodically, and give him cold compresses, though Keith had only been aware of his presence part of the time. Sometimes he mistook him for someone else.
It could only be hoped that the fever would wear off or burn itself out soon.
