Dinah came to the cafeteria as soon as she saw the post about cooking lessons. Learning some more of the recipes Eike had come up with (because right now she knew about three, he did most of the cooking) would give her room mate one less thing to worry about, at least- feeding her.

Plus, having another set of eyes watching for the cafeteria to change couldn't hurt.

Cheerfully, Aziraphale waved to the first arrival. The young girl looked vaguely familiar, but he wasn't sure if they had ever formally met. "Good evening, madam." He greeted her with a slight bow while still sitting.

"Hey." She smiled slightly and waved back, coming over to the table. He looked a little familiar, but she couldn't remember meeting him before...they'd probably only met in passing, if they'd met at all.

He offered her his hand. "I am Aziraphale. I apologize if we've met before, but I simply cannot recall if we have or not."

"My name's Dinah." She shook the offered hand. "I don't think we've met. I don't remember either, if we have."

"Well then, I'm sure we've just seen each other in passing, then." He smiled warmly. "Either way, it is a pleasure to meet you, Miss Dinah."

"Yeah, probably." She agreed, smiling back. "It's nice to meet you too, Aziraphale."

"Well, since I doubt you came here simply for my company..." He shuffled his papers unconsciously. "What sort of recipe would you be interested in?"

"I hadn't really decided." She sat down across from him, toying with her hair out of force-of-habit. "Whichever ones are easiest to learn, I guess."

"Hm... Alright." He thought for a moment. "You're a friend of Mr. Kusch's, am I correct? So you probably know some of his creations?"

She nodded. "Yeah, I am. And I do know a few, but I'd like to learn more."

"Alright then. I'll ask you a few questions about your taste in food, then. I don't want to suggest a recipe that you may not be able to eat." He stopped a moment to think over what he might need to ask her. "First off, do you have any food allergies?"

"None that I know of." She replied after a moment of wracking her memory to see if she did.

"Good." He nodded. "Now, do you have any preferences for flavors? For example, are you one of the many that avoids spicy foods? Do you enjoy desserts? Things like that."

"I don't like spicy food very much." She latched onto that right away. It came from having lived in New England most of her life, as far from cajun country as you could get.

"Hm... Alright, then." He flipped through a few papers. "Ah! I do have a recipe for something similar to shepard's pie." Removing the appropriate paper from his stack, he handed it over to Dinah, so that she would be able to read it. "As you can see, it's basically just an unbaked shepard's pie."

Shepard's Pie - serves two

Ingredients:
2 hamburger patties, broken into small pieces and seasoned with salt at pepper to taste
Steamed vegetables (carrots and peas are suggested, but any combination will work)
Mashed potatoes, seasoned with salt and pepper to taste

Place the seasoned meat into the bottom of a bowl.
Top with the steamed vegetables.
Top with mashed potatoes.
