Nia had sat with her back to the door, humming to herself as she cut small pieces of construction to make new and various ideas that had formed in her head. She had turned to say something to Nill who sat next to her when she spotted Lativa in the doorway, looking nervous as always.

She smiled a kinda smile, standing up and walking over to Lativa before bowing her head," Good day Latvia-san, I am so very glad you can join us!" Nia replied happily," I would very happily like to learn flowers."

Latvia winced when she walked up to him, but rather out of surprise and habit than because he was scared; he wasn't really used to people that were neither his brothers nor an occupying nation.

"I...I'm happy to meet you!" He blushed a little when she mentioned the flowers. "B...but I d...don't know i...if I am any go...good at that... I have n...never thaught someone...

He certainly was adorable. She smiled sweetly and held out her hand," It is quite fine. It is pleasant to see your presence here. I hope that the trip here was not too much trouble for yourself." She replied softly.

Nia made her way back to the table, sitting herself down and pulling out the other chair next to her. She patted the seat, looking back at him with a friendly smile.

"I...it was ok..." He followed her. "I...I have never before b...been here, but I was t...to the cafeteria, a...and my brother told me who to go to this place..." he sat down next to her, where she had showed him to sit, and looked at the pieces and tools that lay at the table. "Y...you were making cards?"

Nia smile gently at the younger boy. She listened attentivly, nodding her head.
"Only the cafeteria? There are many pleasant things here.though they do come with the bad I suppose. Your brother? Would that be Toris-san?" She asked softly.

"Why yes I am, for Lelouch-san and Suzaku-san." Nia smiled a bit in embarassment," I have been getting quite better."

He nodded hesitantly. "Yes, because th...they said that this place was dangerous, and I know that R...Russia-san would be angry and Liet would be even more worried if t...there happpened something to me..." He stared down at his hands. If there happened something, Russia-san would be angry, and it would get either Latvia himself or someone else into trouble... maybe even Russia-san himself...

His brother would worry either way. And he knew that the older nation worried too much already.

"Yes, him." He nodded again. "Y...you know him?"

His eyes lay upon her hands. She seemed to like crafting... Maybe she could help him with the flowers?

Nia glanced at Latvia, a concerned look on her features as she scooted from her seat to kneel in front of Latvia. She gently placed her hands on top of his own trembling ones.

"This place is rather dangerous Latvia-san....It is good you are careful. But--...do try not to become too paranoid..It might be a bit of a back fire." She replied gently, smiling a small smile.

"Oh yes, he is a very kind person. He made me a crown of paper flowers that are very beautiful. I still keep them in my room." Nia said sweetly.

"B...but if I am not careful and get hurt, m...my brother will worry, a...and Russia-san..." Latvia feared that the larger nation might get angry because he had not been careful even more than any other danger the asylum might bear.

Paper flowers? Liet had done that too? He was not sure what to think about it, not sure if his brother would like the ones Latvia planned to make more or less if he had done some himself before this... But on the other hand, being Liet he would like about everything that the little nation gave him.

"Y...you are friends?"

She patted his hand, her lips curving into a sweet smile as she leaned forward a little," Now now, you can always be careful but not so much as to be so afraid my dear. I will do my best to make sure you are safe as well." Nia replied tenderly.

Nia was true to her word. The small nation seemed to remind herself of Simon as a young boy, it was too adorable really. At his next reply, She blinked, the quetion digesting in her mind before she nodded her head.
"Oh yes, he and I chat often about books and such." Nia said.

"I'm s...sorry." He lowered his eyes until he looked down at their hands. He knew that he shouldn't look this scared, people got worried or angry or both when he was, but he couldn't help it. It just was there, had been there for a long time... Maybe ever since he had come into existance, although he wasn't sure about that. The only person whom he could have asked, the nation that had practically brought him to life, was long gone by now. Sometimes Latvia wondered why he was still there while those strong nations that succeeded Germania rose and vanished within a few hundred years ( ... )

"Do not apologize my dear.." She laughed quietly, the same ringingly of bells apparent in her voice. Her hand staying on his own and the distance between them still the same. He seemed to be thinking for a few moments and Nia remained quiet as ever before he spoke again. He was really like a child she always wanted secretly since seeing Yoko as a teacher.

Nia slowly stood back up, going to her seat next to him again," but of course. I am not sure why you are thanking me but I just continue to be myelf. I certainly know your brother is very kind..you both are very alike really." Her words were sweet and gentle, the smile on her lips just as lovely

He had to bite his lower lip to prevent another apology from slipping from them and tried to nod instead. She was nice, really nice, her laughter was happy in a nice and friendly way and he didn't want to worry or upset her. He wanted to please her, he realized suddenly, and not because of fear or because he didn't want to make her sad, but so she would like him. She was friends with his brother, maybe she could become friends with him, too?

"W...we are alike?" This had never really occured to him, expect for the bad things that happened to both of them in their past and the mutual understanding that had created. "W...why?"

"Has no one spoken to you of that?" She asked curiously," I see many things alike with the two of you." Nia chirped," Such as you both are very soft-spoken like myself and are always so caring in your own ways." She smiled sweetly and laced her fingers together as they touched her lips. Nia looked up in thought," I have yet to know you that well but I certainly hope to."

He was like Liet? The thought made him feel warm inside. He loved, even adored his brother. He needed the other nation and would always turn to him and Estonia when he was uset or sad or needed someone for any other reason. "T...thank you". A light pink crept over his cheeks. "M...maybe I can become as st...strong as he once w...was one day." It was hard to believe, but maybe...

Nia laughed," Of course! There is no need to thank me."

She smiled softly and reached out to him again, her hands cupping his face motherly," I believe you are fine as you are..but if you wish to be stronger, with that will of yours you may achieve greatness.." Nia replied quietly.

He couldn't believe that, but he didn't want to object her or enything like that, so he just looked down. "Th...thank you." He was quite sure that he couldn't achieve anything near greatness, but at least... at least a bit stronger than now. Strong enough to stand up against someone and succeed. Strong enough to be of real help for his brothers.
