Summary: Hakkai wants to know more about the book "A Christmas Carol" and Keith is happy to oblige.
Warnings: Uh... possible mild dorkdom and absurd politeness?
Keith made his way down the stairs, wondering many things. He still did not know where he was; this did not appear to be Calios, but some of the things he'd been told were not comforting. At least the Inquisition did not appear to be involved.
But he'd promised to tell Hakkai what he remembered of that Dickens novel. He hadn't been terribly fond of it, and honestly thought it wouldn't have attracted much notice. However, Hakkai seemed to think that something would happen soon, and if that silly book could be connected to what might happen, it was certainly best to be prepared.
He found the cafeteria without much trouble (pausing once when he heard what sounded like a particularly boistrous occurrence on the second floor), and spent the time he was waiting for Hakkai inspecting the food. It all looked most unpalatable, but he wouldn't know. He still didn't know if there would be anything for his kind, or if he would have to find another way to make do.
