His Body Had Basically Said, )
Firo had made a quick run down to the cafeteria, and hadn't gone all of two steps past the doorway once out of the stairwell when he found out his foot had gotten caught on something. "...huh??"
He righted his balance with a few more lurching steps before he was able to glance back and see what in the world he'd tripped o-
"-Garrus?!"
Wanting to ask Firo as quickly as possible to trail Garrus up to D Floor just in case, the still slightly sick Ennis opened the door to the hall to check if he had returned yet, just in time to hear his startled shout.
Setting her illness aside, she hurried over to the stairwell, concerned (especially by the seemingly malicious signs posted on either side of him), but as she got closer and saw that he was uninjured and just sound asleep, Ennis sighed in relief as she slowed to stop beside Firo.
Hearing the footsteps from down the hall, Firo turned to look. "Ennis!" Asking if she was all right was on the tip of his tongue, but he knew she was at least much better than she had been in the past weeks. He rested a hand on her shoulder as she came over, looking back down at the sleeping Turian then, and not without a slight frown at the signs.
"...I guess it could have been worse..." he said, slowly moving to kneel by Garrus, picking up one of the signs. He glanced over his shoulder at Ennis. "We can't just leave him here. I don't think I can move him by myself, but if you're feeling all right...?" Experimentally he lifted one of the Turian's arms, mindful it was the uninjured one. "Or if not, maybe I can find someone to help..."

When Firo went to kneel, Ennis crouched down as well, lightly touching Garrus' face, but it was just as warm as normal. It must have been just stress and exhaustion, then... A frown overcame her face, thinking of the latest event. Why did things like this constantly have to happen and ruin his chances of getting any proper rest? And for the current situation to be so petty... What was even the point of it? There was so much more to be concerned with without people abducting others for the sake of some 'social experiment'...
But she couldn't dwell upon that right now--not when Garrus needed her. She still wasn't up to her full strength, but with Firo helping, she was sure that they would be able to pull the turian to a more secure location. "I am well enough," she told Firo, and looked over their options. They couldn't drag him by his arms with one of them so injured... "We should pull him back to our room by his legs," she suggested. "We might be able to get him on the bed once we're there..."

"Ready? On three," he said, glancing at Ennis with a nod. "One... two... three-"

Between the two of them, it was harder to ensure they were not aggravating Garrus' injuries than it was to roll him over. Once he was safely on his back, Ennis carefully folded his arms over his chest so that they would not bump into anything on the way before taking hold of one of his legs and rising.

He went around to the Turian's legs, nodding at Ennis to wait for her to take up a position by Garrus's other side.

On her feet now, Ennis waited for Firo to grab hold of Garrus' other leg before she began to pull, starting slowly to put less strain on the turian's body, but then leaned back to put all her weight into it.

"Wonder if he'll wake up..." the Camorrista murmured, glancing over his shoulder at the sleeping Turian they dragged.

It was not an unmanageable distance from the stairwell to Firo's room, but it nearly broke her to hear that Garrus could not escape the guilt even in his dreams.

"...." He exchanged a glance with Ennis, his chest tight with the inability to say or do anything to ease whatever pain the Turian yet felt by Shepard's sudden disappearance. He felt Gerd's sympathy far back in his mind resounding with his own.
Don't take me away from Ennis... don't take me away from her either...

That was the plan, anyway. It was cut somewhat short when he opened his door. "Oh, hey." A man and a woman were trying to drag a large... guy... down the hall, and not having much luck. Guy looked like he was out cold. "Someone hurt?" Automatically, he strode over to them, cocky attitude firmly in place. "Need any help?"

Thankfully, a distraction was provided by the man suddenly leaving his room and offering his help, pulling her away from dwelling uselessly on something she would not have any control over until they located the doctors. "He is just asleep," she explained to the man, quickly composing herself, "but we would appreciate your help in getting him to a bed." With three people, it would be a much easier task to pick him up off the floor.

"Err... what she said. Found him passed out here in the hall so we're trying to get him back to my room so he can rest better without being run over or something," Firo filled in after Ennis, grinning sheepishly. "We could use an extra hand though, yeah." The guy looked like he'd be able to provide substantial muscle-power to this, and anything would be good if it would lessen the strain they'd be putting Garrus through.
"Oh, but we have to be careful of his injuries. His arm was messed up so we're trying to avoid moving it around," he added.

He stepped forward, trying to determine where the best place to grab the guy would be. Finally he decided that he'd just have to grab him by the shoulders. Bastard looked heavy. "Where are we going?"
He wondered about the girl, if she and the brown-haired man were dating. It would be a shame if they were. Gene had learned two things about women: never mess with another man's girl, and never mess with a girl that could benchpress you.
