The girl was gone. Just... vanished. People were looking for her, but, if the lack of forum posts were any judge, it was all in vain. Just like all the attempts to save the girl were... She'd tried do hard, and not only had the dog broken her heart, she'd disappeared. This was what happened when you let yourself get close. You just lost everything. And yet she'd called for the boy. Practically begged him to show up at her door. Why...?
She needed to know there was still someone out there? Maybe? She didn't know. So she just waited for him to show up, staring blankly at the monitor.
