What this world needs is a reformation
My office is awfully quiet - so silent that my crunching of the green peas resonates through the entire room. Nope, I don't care how much noise I'm making.
While munching on those yummy but cacophonous snacks, I came across this article and y'know, reading the comments never fails to make me feel like shit because the entire world is dumb and full of whiners.

Sometimes I think that even if the world resets itself, humans have no chance at redemption. Unless mankind is a whole different species all together or somehow miraculously evolves by retaining its good traits and eliminating the bad - until then, humans are damned.
Let's say if the world does reconstruct, it will only be an endless loop because cruelty and vileness are rooted deep in our genes. We can have the entire primitive era to modern times cycle over and over again, but yet, the same result will surface. Just like our predecessors, humans will learn to fight for their territory and when push comes to shove, disregard everything else because - the strongest survive.
Even way before we are born, we are battling against a painful and hellish environment as a fetus. Nature has programmed us this way. It's in our blood, we can't help it. Education and knowledge have kindly put a pause on our true nature but honestly, how many people on Earth are actually good? There are all kinds of enormity out there - cannibalism, animal abuse, rape, warfare and stepping on each other to climb the corporate ladder - that I believe there is not one single soul on Earth who is pure because we are just not made like that.
As much as I want to, I won't condemn everyone to be cold and heartless. Rather, I think it has become something like a free choice. Either you choose to be good, or bad. Simple as it sounds but remember a hidden part of us - the underlying truth of us will always lurk somewhere and wait to be unleashed.
To get back on point, nature has to eradicate whatever abominable characteristics we possess now and keep the good parts. Imagine a world of altruism and words like stupid, ugly, and vicious don't exist. How mystifying is that! By then, we can perhaps call ourselves the Upgraded Angelic Humans or UAH in short. I'M A UUUAAHHHHH!
A note to my boss he will never see: if I wanted to answer the door, I'd have apply for a doorman job.
