I don't want to die
As the Chinese proverb goes, 不见棺材不掉泪 (won't cry till you see a coffin), humans will never learn until something disastrous happens to them. Okay, that literal translation sounds so weird.
Recently, there has been a series of freak car accidents, like thrice in two weeks. In the latest, a man had his leg severed after being trapped under a bus. Even after all these causalities, I still see people dashing across traffic lights especially during peak hours. I know they are rushing for work but honestly, is it worth it?
What really spurs me to write this is because of a recent ride in my friend's car. In no relation to the Ferrari car accident, my friend who also drives a sports car was speeding at 100km+/hr, jerking the wheel left and right, I had to cling onto the seat belt for dear life. When he talked, his hands even left the steering wheel and I was like "can you keep your (fucking) hands on the wheel?" I don't understand what it's with guys and their stupid thinking that girls will be impressed with their insane driving. Give me a god damn break and no, no freaking pun intended. What was worse was that it rained heavily that day and it was so bad that the view was obscured I had to actually tell him to slow the hell down. Couldn't he do it without my saying? Sure, he could speed all he wanted but without me in the car FFS. Ugh. *Throw hands up in frustration*
Sigh, on a happier note, I watched Men in Black 3 last night. I didn't catch the first two installments, so I didn't know what I was headed for until aliens began creeping around in the movie, lolol. Although I was perpetually grossed out by the non-earthlings, I found it very interesting and funny. What's not to like about a movie packed with action, sci-fi and comedy? (: (:
I'm watching I AM later with Vic. It costs 16 bucks per ticket, twice the amount of the original. Gahhhh, I wanted to withdraw watching it but I could feel Vic's sad puppy eyes through my phone, lmao. So I convinced myself, it's all for Homin's sake! I think fangirls will squeal in the theaters, hahaha.
