Wtf
I swear some people behave like evil but stupid stepmothers and I simply can't fathom how ridiculous a person can get. I have almost zero tolerance for idiocy and this client of mine is obviously testing the mines, which very unfortunately, can't blow up no matter the absurdity of it all.
This morning, our office received a call from client M. They requested for a meeting right there and then. There was no preparation or explanation about the meeting, me and my colleague were kinda wtf about the whole thing. I'm pretty sure we looked like some awesome designers leashed by the neck. And that was only the beginning of the wtf meeting. When we got there, the boss demonstrated the boss he was and I have to say, not at all impressive. There was major internal communication breakdown; the boss and employee were arguing right beneath my nose and we were caught in the middle of their petty and miserable squabble that didn't even make sense. So the meeting (yeah right, meeting) went on like this for two hours. It was a complete waste of time.
As senseless as he was, the boss (B) couldn't amuse me even more when he asked something from my colleague (C). The conversation briefly went like this:
B: Can you make the brochure convertible to Japanese? (Wtf)
C: ... What? My program can't do that.
B: I don't care! Make it convertible and editable so that my Japanese client can read and change the text to his liking. This client came all the way from JAPAN, you know. (No, I don't and don't care. Tell me when he's from Neptune)
The boss expected the working file to miraculously change itself to Japanese text with just one click, wtf. He was basically asking, no, demanding for something that doesn't exist in this world! Try Adobe maybe, asshole.
