Yeah, so I was involved in a debating thing tonight.
I was paired with this girl who I get on with okay and we were opposing the movement that the internet does more harm than good.

We were in the second debate so during the first we had to wait in another room so we wouldn't get an unfair advantage.

Oh, these guys. The Westboro Baptist Church are completely ridiculous. I wrote a project on them in high school and just found it beyond belief what some people will do just because they think that their God will like it.

Louis Theroux was in a really good and rather upsetting documentary about them, called America's Most Hated Family, which I recommend.

I just... If ever a group of people deserved to go to Hell, it's them. They almost make me wish I'm wrong about the whole God thing just so they'll suffer an eternity of damnation. Oh, I saw that! They just... GAH! Disgusting.

It was. I mean, if they are right about everything, then I'd gladly go to hell rather than be surrounded by them for all eternity. The woman who currently seems to be second in charge- after Fred Phelps- is particularly unpleasant. Some of the younger ones, like the really little kids, I just feel bad for. It's brainwashing and unfair on them! Their school life must be rubbish, everyone hates them. Either for their gay bashing or funeral picketing of dead soldiers or both. Argh... I could go on.

It frustrates me how people can honestly believe that it's okay to act like that...

Oh, I know. I feel so bad for the kids. They're doomed. Even if they break free of their families, they're always going to second guess themselves. (My best friend was brought up Southern Baptist, and she still wonders if she's going to burn when she has lustful thoughts.)

People are just evil. Ugh.
