9:39 PM 9/6/10 · While it's been something of a minor sore point among the few of my fellow geeks that are aware of this, I've never watched The Big Bang Theory. I've seen snippets of it, maybe 5 minutes total of the entire series, but that's about it.
It's not that I have anything against it, the show just comes on at the same time of other shows I truly love.
I'm watching The Closer now and during the commercial break I flipped to The Big Bang Theory where I caught an error. Don't know the name of the characters but the tall skinny guy said that the X·Men were named for the 'X' in Charles Xavier.
This is not actually the case. For such a geek themed show I'm a little appalled they weren't aware of this.
The 'X' in X·Men is for the unknown x factor in mutant DNA that provides them with their powers and differs them from baseline humans.
Epic fail!
