Worst accents in movies
Inspired by something I heard on Radio 1, I was discussing the worst attempted accents in movies with some workmates today. Naturally, Dick Van Dyke's accent in Mary Poppins was the first to come up. That was just horrible. 'Mawry Pawpins'. God help us.
The Sean Connery was mentioned. No matter what part he pays be it Spanish-Egyptian swordsman (Highlander) or rogue Russian submarine captain (The Hunt For Red October) his normal voice always comes htrough. Then again, he's Sir Sean Connery. He doeshn't need no shtinking accshent!
