wasting time
Annoyingly, class finished almost 3 hours early today. We worked in our groups for much of the morning and afternoon, and we were permitted to leave whenever we had all the work done and decisions made for Q2 of the market simulation game we're doing. One group (which has 2 of the people I really like in the class; this is relevant later) left immediately after the post-lunch lecture, as they had finished that morning. We were the last group done and it was still only about 2:05. I'm annoyed because we start up again at 8:30 tomorrow morning, and are only going until 11 or 11:30. 2.5 - 3 hrs left. The airport is an hour away, and I'll need to refuel and return my rental car when I get there. My flight isn't until 4:45 pm, and the next earliest flight I could possibly stand by on is at 12:15ish. Obviously, I wouldn't make that, even w/o checking my bag. *le sigh* So I'm left with all of tomorrow afternoon with nothing to do, bleh. Plus I left the headphones for my iPhone on my desk at work so I have no tunes to listen to while idling at the airport. I guess I'll just try to find a mall or Barnes & Noble near the airport to kill some time at.
Also annoying is that since we all left at different times today and I only sorta like my teammates, I have no dinner plans with my other classmates to network and socialize. I was gonna go see a matinée, but got lost on the way to the theatre and decided it best to just come back to the hotel and do a pay-per-view if I get too bored with the internet. I've been trolling the WoW forums out of sheer boredom, which has only left me annoyed that this laptop can't handle the game. BLEH.
Went shopping yesterday at lunch with a classmate who's local and got a pretty new scarf. I bet rachelk121 or chasingthenuns could have made it for me cheaper, but oh well. The yarn is pretty unique and it was on sale, so I picked it up.
Home in just over 24 hours, can't wait!
