There's just something about the way the street looks
After it rains.
It makes me think of you,
How you were soaked by the rain,
Your white shirt drenched and revealing.

I admit to blushing,
Then I open my eyes.
Nothing can explain this dream that
Suddenly came true.

As we stand in the rain,
Running around like little kids.
The thunder rolls and catches you off guard
As you find your way into my arms
I smirk,
I see the lightning flash in your eyes,

I can't help but kiss you.
I love you more and more
As the rain  pelts us harder and harder.
If we're apart,
The rain hides my tears.

Maybe,
If I choose a song that's not for trance dance,
Maybe if I choose a slower song,
We could bring our bodies together for a slow dance in the rain.
I'll have one ear bud,
You can have the other,
We can listen together,
Dance together,
We can be close with a slow dance in the rain.
