Tonight was the best night ever!!!!
It was just super fun, because I got to hang out with a lot of REALLY AWESOME people, that I don't usually get to see. I went to dinner with Becky at like 8:30, and then we went to the bookstore for a lil while and looked through this flower clothing fairy book which was cool, and then came back to ISRC to watch this movie of Jess's, called Brazil. It was kind of strange, but sparked lots of discussion! Also, before the movie when we were waiting for Nicki was really fun too, because me and Emery and Daniel and Becky were playing ping pong, and it was just tons of fun! The discussion was excellent as well. There were some really epic quotes from it, like:
"They based the movie off the theme song. It's like Titanic! No wait... that was My Heart Will Go On..." Daniel
"Or maybe like Star Wars! They named it after the theme song!" Daniel
"...Or maybe that was because it was a war in space" Jess
"Gravity pulled it upward" Becky
And some other ones as well, which I don't remember. Like, uh... me trying to explain the time where Becky wrote love in Japanese in onions, comparing that to this one scene in the movie. I had a really good point, but Daniel totally warped it, and people were super confused for a really long time. But it was hilarious :P
And then we ended up going to BK after that for an hour. We had some kind of strange talk about the justice system for sexual offenders, and a geek scale, and fantasy books, you know, your average conversation topics :P
But, point being, it was super fun!! And I had a great time. Hopefully we will have more excellent times like this in the future. Like DUNE!!!! Coming up in only a couple days!!!! XDDD
