Yay, psych picnic!!
So, the Family Institute picnic was a lot of fun. I really love psych people. Its like, I always have something to talk with them about and I LOVE psych, so it works out great!! It was one of those things which reminded me why I'd love to be a psych college professor. That seems just like such an excellent job!! I can easily see myself having like a psych professor picnic for some college like this in the future.
The only thing that always is weird about thinking of going into Academia, is just... it feels so pretentious (this is my word of the month, btw. Ask Becky. :P) to be doing that when there's so much more like helpful stuff I could be doing. But that's getting less and less of an incentive to push me in a different direction now. Because I just realize how much I love talking about psych with other psych people. Its just really great.
