Dillo Day
So, Dillo Day was really fun. I went with a bunch of awesome people to see the 3rd Eye Blind Concert on the lakefill, and that was excellent. Then we waited in line for like 2 hours to get henna tattoos, and went to have lunch at Hinman. The only unfortunate part of that adventure was my smart idea to not use sunblock... I don't know why this didn't occur to me. I wasn't that burnt when I was out on the lakefill, but apparently going inside turns me into a giant salmon. Ouch.
Anyway, so then I went back to ISRC to do my homework, and Becky kind of followed me. It was fun, because I ended up working on my paper, and she just chilled out on my bed reading some awesome psych articles I recommended to her. Then I finished the stuff I planned to get done today, and we just talked for a really long time, which was excellent. Becky claims to not be good a giving me advice on certain topics which come up a lot, but I don't think that's true. I think she does a really awesome job at it. And she really has some excellent things to say/advice. I think its just really nice to have a person who you can have that kind of relationship with. Just talking about anything, especially the important things, and being really productive. So, yeah, that was really fun and productive and nice. Unfortunately, I now have a day of boring studying ahead of me to look forward to. Bleh!
