I <3 my mother
She is awesome, really. It was nice, because she came in today (and is gonna stay for a bunch of the weekend). So we went to Dave's Italian Kitchen for dinner and talked about a bunch of stuff. It was funny... my mother's always been kind of eh... about anime. But in comparison to DCP, she's like oh yeah, its definitely good for you to be involved in this. That was kind of amusing. But in general it was just really nice because she was just really understanding and accepting of all the things that I wanted to do.... except the JET program. But we can work on that. I've got two years :P But I was like you know, I want to go to graduate school for psychology and get my PhD. And she was kind of like Okay, if that's what you want to do. And then asked me some other questions like what I'd want to do with it and everything. And that was just really nice, because she'd been kind of meh... about it before.
But we talked about a bunch of things, and she was just glad that I was happy and doing good and that was really fun. :)
And yay! Tomorrow we get to go into Chicago! :D
