It's Victor Hugo Month in my house. Well, in my head, at least. And my head is where I do 99% of my living, so. It's Victor Hugo Month in my house.
I'm nearly halfway through The Hunchback of Notre-Dame, and still can't figure out how I got this old without reading it before. (What gives, self?) Also, I'm a Gringoire fangirl already. Just so you know.
Notre-Dame de Paris, the rock opera based on the book, is flat out gorgeous. Ten seconds into the overture and I was almost crying. I am not kidding. IT'S BETTER THAN PHANTOM AND LES MIZ COMBINED. There, I said it.
Speaking of which, the Brick is next. Though I think it may take me a bit longer to get through, seeing as it's the size of my head.
