Ok, so the other day at work were doing the Phoenix project and our companies recent downsizing has put us in a crippling position for workers. There brilliant idea to help fix this solution is to split up our teams with a few workers who know what there doing, and fill the rest with a bunch of part time wanna-be's that don't know what there doing. There from a company called Labor-ready, and well, there fucking stupid. We are building new displays and the space between the top of one shelf to the bottom of another is slightly different in one bay then in another do to the size of the beams, so we need to put a 2x4 about 8 feet long on top of the display so we can mount it securely in the space provided. So we send one of our temp's to go and get one. The guy agrees like it was no problem at all, but apparently it was, because the guy came back holding a 1x12 that was about 6 feet long.(Idiot). So that's not the worst, when it came time to put product up, the two guys that I had to work with were slow as molasses and could not read the plan-o-gram for the life of them, it was like working with Harry and Lloyd from Dumb & Dumber. I eventually sent these guys home VERY EARLY because quit frankly, I think these guys were picked up at a Nuclear Test Site. In my professional opinion, these people should have the jobs in place of those poor beat up crash test dummies, why not get some real dummies to do the tests instead.
