So getting called in because Brutter dug up a piece of the Seal of Mar for him? Not really the most exciting of missions. Since it seemed like a real waste of time to just jump into Haven to pick that up and then rush on home, Jak figured he had a pass to extend that time just a little longer.
For something like taking Jono out drinking in a real Haven bar.
Yeah, you could argue that he saw enough of the guy because he had to live with him, but it wasn't like Jak had a lot of friends to spare.
He threw himself out of the portal and into the dirty slum apartment he and Daxter were currently 'cohabiting', landing feet first on the ground and scaring the living daylights out of the ottsel a couple rooms down (not that he knew that).
