The Transformation Begins...
Today was my first day of work. The intake part is a lot like any of the paper-pushing temp jobs I've had so far, or the R&L Carriers one.
I managed ok even though I still got up before 3 to do the newspaper. I was tired for a while but picked up a fresh wind just after noon.
While updating the docket book, I was reminded that the 4th of July is a court holiday, so we will have either reduced hours or no work that day. Immediately I was excited at the timing, since I was planning to have the replacement of my suspension done in a few weeks anyway. After I got home, I ordered the parts (KYB AGX 4-way adjustable shocks and Tein S-tech springs), and I'm going to set an appointment with my shop of choice [a local pop's place recommended by the enthusiasts at louisvillestreets.com; one of the mechanics is a member] to get the installation done in time for me to enjoy my developing toy all weekend. :D I know where I'm going to get some of that enjoying done, too. Cruising into unknown territory while enjoying my last free weekday, I found a very fun winding road...
