My interview Monday went very well. The branch manager even said he was "impressed" with me. *puffs up a bit* Pretty good for not having any sales experience... other than Dance Marathon fundraising, which I equated to "selling 'nothing' to people". I did not need to use my 'American office workers' writing skills suck' article because he did not bring that up. But I have thought about raining copies, along with letters pimping myself, on area businesses whose publically visible messages contain typographical errors.

Also Monday, I was called back in for a second interview with Radio Shack. Interesting, because my impression from the first interview was that they would want someone with retail experience, but actually they are going to be ready to hire me soon. All that's left is for the background checks to come back.

Tuesday morning I interviewed for a temporary recordkeeping job with Raytheon. This one I don't think I'd be excited about doing, because I thought to ask them 'What is the most difficult or frustrating part of this position?' and the reply was 'Sometimes you have a dozen people a day harassing you to finish paperwork that they need.' And that's not cool. I am quite calm and polite, but hostile vibes from people I'm supposed to be working in accord with will accumulate and wear me out quickly.

Today I am going to stay home, sleep late, finish all the post-interview letters I need to send out, and do a new batch of online applications. *curls up to sleep*
