About 90 percent of Christ's ministry was accomplished "on the way" to something else. He was never rushed or in a hurry. He allotted enough time to meet the needs of the people He encountered without then being "late" to care for the needs of the people He was heading to see. How many of us can say that we have time "on the way" to do anything extra? Made me think. Usually, we're too last minute to even stop and grab a coke at the corner gas station, much less have time to do something completely spur of the moment for someone else. Hm.
