Back to the grindstone...
So, what did I do with my forced LJ break? Slept. I mean... I really slept. I remember waking to pee and to eat lunch. Other than that, I've been totally out of it all day. I finally dragged myself out of lala land to help get supper ready and now I'm quite awake. This won't bode well for tonight, I fear. Nor for the special I'm singing tomorrow morning in church.
I was browsing to see what was coming on television tonight and noticed that TMC was airing the '67 classic Fahrenheit 451. I loved that book when I was in 8th grade. I remembered watching the movie in class and not liking much, but thought it was just because I'd recently read the book. So tonight, I got Parker all excited about seeing it only to discover that the reason I didn't like back in 8th grade was because it was crap. They couldn't find ANY actors more difficult to understand if they tried... and I'm wondering if they did! We needed subtitles! Still, Parker's waiting it out. He's enthralled with the premise, if nothing else.
Anyway... that's about it.
