Christmas is bordering on ridiculous. Commercialism aside, the customs all originate from different religions and cultures and many have been perverted by time. Trees were meant to hang upside-down and the Saint Nicholas rescued children from a butcher, not gave them presents. The worst is most Americans don't even realize where all their traditions came from. Or even that they originated somewhere else.

At least I find relief from them in my work. What occupation do you pursue?

I wonder if it is worth it to try to stop them from destroying themselves? I admit it has been almost fun to watch. They are so eager.
