Yay to Hanpasha_cave for making community for poetry! You have no idea how long i've been looking for a place like that! =) I'm looking forward to reading everyones stuff and having them read mine, maybe help me to make some of it better! :) ~Even if I am a bit stubborn sometimes :P~
Just wondering Nate, do you have any LJ cut rules? o_o *would like to find out before hand of posting somethin longer :P*

Poison
Deceptive with obscure intrigue,
attempted understanding
will only cause fatigue.
I am one to avoid,
leaving you, at best, annoyed,
careful how you taste me,
you will soon regret,
im a passing curiosity
you'll want to forget.
I'm a poison, they say,
initially sweet
like sugar i cause decay,
in every soul i meet,
like drowsiness, i'll take you quietly
infecting before you know
like seizures, i'll take you violently
inticing irritated woe,
all who try me eventually lament
I become a survial story
to distract from your discontent.
