I have tenosynovitis [sp?] in my arm, which is putting pressure on the surrounding nerves.
I need physical therapy to make it better, due to the stage it's at, evidently.
My insurance doesn't cover any outpatient medical procedures out of area.
Gainesville is decidedly out of area.
To sum up: I can't feel my pinkie, my arm hurts, and I have no way to fix this.
In case it's not obvious, I'm not in the best spirits right now. And I really don't need this as I'm trying frantically to get everything done that's due before the end of the semester, get things ready for summer, and prepare for graduation.
On a positive note, it's almost Easter, and I get to go home with Nate and meet more of his extended family this weekend.
EDIT: The PT at the infirmary agreed to do my treatments for almost 1/2 the usual costs, and isn't charging me for an evaluation screening. So hopefully soon my pinkie will stop tingling and my arm will go back to normal.
This experience has been good for me. For the first time in a long time, I gave this up to God and asked for God's help in figuring something out and being proactive enough to look at the options. The next morning, it all works out. Something to think about, and be thankful for, truly.
