stuff
So I'm home. part of me still can't believe that I've already finished a year of my college education..only 4 more to go! Gotta love the 5-year program :) Its amazing to me how much more motivated I am there, in high school I always did fine, but I was so unmotivated and bored..now I'm in classes that I'm interested in, with kids who (mostly) are there because they really want to be and had to work to get into the school. Now if I fail I'm the only person I'm screwing over, so that's probably a big part of it..its $40,000/year lost if I screw up..pretty good motivation I think.. anyways, thats my I love college babble. Go to college, kids!
Anyways, I'm working as a nanny this summer. I decided I was tired of working retail and I can make $15/hour under the table by babysitting, so why not? I'm working for 2 families, one who I worked for part time last summer, and a new one. The youngest girl is 3 and a handful, but cute when she's not totally cranky. Plus it means no more working nights and weekends :)
What else...its been a while since I wrote in here, I just kinda use livejournal to check up on the few people who still update theirs...so if anyone actually still uses this site and is around Novato, call me up or IM me or something, I'm bored and most people are away at school!!
