update time
I should think about updating this thing mroe often....but its so much easier just to read other people's and respond to theirs! Anyways, I guess not a WHOLE lot is new since I last posted, except that i had m LAST CLASS for the semester today!! Yay! I can't wait til next semester, my classes/schedule will be so much better, I think I'll even try to squeeze in a job.
Speaking of jobs, I realllllly want to stay in Boston over summer, working as an orientation leader. Its a sweet beyond sweet deal: you get put up in the best on-campus apartments, have 15 meals/week paid for, $1000 on your Husky card to cover living expenses, and a salary of about 3 grand. Perfect, right? Too bad my mom wont let me stay. How lame. So I started looking into overnight camp opportunities, cuz I figure, if I HAVE to be in Cali, I might as well be as far from Novato as possible. But I dunno how thats gonna work out, since I definately want a vacation this year since I didnt really have one last summer cuz I was working... then again, I might just try to get a boring but highly paid office job..
So on friday, I woke up, and I thought...today is the day I'm going to get a new piercing! So I went to Cambridge with my friend Soo-Young (shes from CA too! yay!) and I got my nose pierced after talking about doing it for 2 years. It hurt, but nothing like my industrial, and the pain has been very minimal since I got it done, so thats cool. Now..I just need to get Tom to stop being a wimp and agree to getting his ear pierced at a non-sketchy place!! Which side, Tom?? Right?? ;) jk
Ummm so thats about it. Except I'll be packing at this time next week. WHOA. I so dont feel like my year is half over, and I definately dont feel like its time to go back to Novato. But oh well, a break from the snow might be nice...if you dont mind the dentist, orthodontist, gynecologist, or oral surgeon =P Thank goodness for Ming Yen, Jamba Juice, and Peets Coffee to make the pain go away :-D
