Reading about big dinosaurs.
Amphicoelias was a giant frakking dinosaur. Like, 60 metres/200 feet long. They dug one up in the late 1800s and took some notes and sketches and whatnot.
And then they lost it.
HOW. DO YOU LOSE SOMETHING. THAT IS 60. METRES. LONG.
scalybutt,
this hurts my soul

Shit that's crazy.
But in any case, I get to go to the museum with the kids next week and I am PSYCHED to see the dinosaurs! One of my students just got into dinosaurs like a month ago and I just want to show him EVERYTHING IN THE DINOSAUR EXHIBIT AND ALL THE SHIT THEY DON'T PUT OUT FOR EXHIBIT BUT I KNOW IS THERE!
They have a Utahraptor claw yo. It's locked in the back, but I begged them to take it out for me once and goddamn it was bigger than I thought it'd be!
Fuck... what if they lost it? D: Now I have concerns. (because I fully intend on begging them to unearth that thing from storage and show it to my student 'cause he's like "RAPTORSSSSSS!!!" and it's bigger'n his head).
